Dynamic functional strength training
Weight training through drawing an awareness of the core, while performing functional movements.
I do not believe in simple weight training. I believe every muscle performs a special functional need and there is no basic movement.
I believe that with the proper form and technique the core will be engaged throughout any functional movement.
Since all range of motion first begins at the core, it is a major focal point of strength and stability.
PlyoMetrics
As a former collegiate athlete I know the necessity of functional and explosive movements.
Plyometrics are full body range of motion movements with an explosive burst, that triggers fast twitch muscle fibers.
This method of training is great for all fitness levels because it will assist in everyday basic tasks that the average American drawls fatigue from.
Now you will be prepared.
Pilates
Pilates is great way to draw attention to all of the stabilizing muscle for major muscle groups.
Pilates brings awareness to the mind and body, through conscious breathing, core and spinal stabilization.
It is a great rehabilitative tool for injuries throughout the body ranging from :
- Knee pain
- Back pain
- Joint pain
- Neck pain
